Why would most of us heard about the benefits of staying at Asheville bed and breakfast instead of a traditional hotel in Asheville NC? Nevertheless only few ended up in Asheville bed and breakfast. I was once used to be ending up in a traditional hotel and tried to avoid a small family owned establishment. After great experience I would say my idea was wrong and I am completely over it now.
For years I was hesitant to stay at a local bed and breakfast when traveling. I guess I was one of those people who just stuck with the safe bet. You know what a hotel is going to be like for the most part. You might find one that has a more comfortable bed than another. You might find one that has awesome water pressure and thus an awesome shower. Most of them have relatively clean rooms.
Not only that, but you also know what to expect for bed and breakfast Asheville NC. You are either going to have a restaurant in the hotel that serves sit down breakfasts or you will get some kind of continental breakfast. Unless you are paying big bucks, neither one of these is normally anything spectacular. You get some cheap buffet and out the door you go. For the most part, I guess that is what the vast majority of travelers are actually looking for.
You think that by staying in Asheville bed and breakfast you are really taking a chance. I guess you really are taking a chance. However, in my experience, every bed and breakfast that I have ever stayed at has exceeded the quality of the average chain hotel. Remember you are essentially guests in someone else's home. People tend to treat their guests quite hospitably.
When it comes to getting a good night's rest I have found that the small inns have a much quieter clientele. As a result there is less noise during the wee hours of the morning. Most of these places are away from the hustle and bustle of the major highways so there is less road noise outside your window. Some of them even keep the windows open for fresh air during the summer. You can hear the crickets. That'll help put you to sleep. I have never had a bad night sleep while staying at a bed and breakfast that I could blame on the place.
As far as the food goes it is not even close in my opinion. You always get a better breakfast at a family owned inn. If you compare the prices for staying overnight at either location, I bet you'll find that often times the bed and breakfast is actually cheaper. If you have never done it, I suggest you give it a try. You'll become a convert as well.
